This project, encompassing construction and rehabilitation from Byron to San Jose, was the continuation of the original South Bay Aqueduct/Pipeline rehabilitation project.

To complete this project Syblon Reid:

• Constructed the addition of over 30 manholes
• Added continuity bonds to over 15 miles of pipeline
• Recoated the interior of existing, 54-inch, 60-inch, and 72-inch pipeline
• Performed tank piping and structural modifications
• Performed soil nailing and slope stability improvements
• Replaced over 50 Automatic Relief Valves (ARV) and blow-off piping systems
• Performed extensive Asbestos remediation

Syblon Reid completed these critical outages ahead of schedule, which
included additional scope of work
