Syblon Reid is Award Winner at 2009 AGC Safety Awards of Excellence Banquet

May 2009 - The Associated General Contractors of California AGC-CA) handed out safety awards to contractors in recognition of their commitment to developing and implementing successful safety programs at the 2009 AGC of California Safety Awards of Excellence Luncheon held in Monterey, CA.

For the second consecutive year, Syblon Reid received a first-place Safety Award of Excellence. In recognition of exemplary construction safety Syblon Reid received first place in the Heavy/Civil/Highway Division, Under 200,000 hours category.

Syblon Reid Project Selected as 2009 AGC of California Constructor Award Finalist

March 2009 - Syblon Reid was named a finalist at the 2009 Associated General Contractors of California (AGC-CA) Constructor Awards in the “Excellence in Project Management ” category for the Colgate Valve Replacement Project.

Syblon Reid Announces 2009-2010 Reid Family Scholarship Recipients

Syblon Reid is pleased to announce the following recipients of the Reid Family Scholarship for the current academic year:

Kerry John Duncan Jr.
Currently attending Fresno State, Kerry Jr. is the son of Kerry Sr. and Debbi Duncan. 

Jeremy Mathis.
Currently attending Folsom Lake College, Jeremy is the son of Marvin and Kathy Mathis.

Joshua Nelson.
Currently attending American River College, Joshua is the son of Ed Nelson.

Moses Vidales.
Currently attending Sacramento State, Moses is the son of Javier and Martha Vidales.

Created to honor the Reid family's contributions to Syblon Reid, it's employees and surrounding communities for over 50 years, these annual scholarships are available to children of Syblon Reid employees.
