South Bay Aqueduct Siphon and Check Structures Modifications

Location: Livermore, CA

A hydro project, scope of work involves the demolition and construction of 8 concrete structures within the South Bay Aqueduct including the cleaning and installation of cathodic protection a terminal tank in San Jose. Structures installed are within a 10-mile canal section.

A challenge of the project is that work is to be done according to a 51 day shut down schedule with no provisions to halt work due to weather or holidays.
