Part of Folsom Dam’s Phase II construction of the dam spillway, the project consisted of installation of two government supplied steel pipe bifurcations onto the existing 42” Natoma Pipeline drawing raw water from the lake for the City of Folsom. The principal components of work included excavation and foundation preparation, installation of government supplied bifurcations and pipeline electrical conduits and cable relocation, and constructing permanent access to upstream bifurcation location. Construction of concrete thrust blocks was an additional item.
