Stanislaus Dam Removal

Location: Stanislaus County, CA

To accomplish this challenging project calling for removal of a diversion dam in the Stanislaus River, instream flow modifications are required to divert regular river flows and secure a dry work area for crews to perform the work.

The significant challenge is to perform all phases of the work under critical shut-down periods to support the continuous operation of downstream hydro facilities. To meet this scheduling challenge crews will work 24/7 during critical shut-down periods.
