North Fork 84" x 72" Bifurcation

Location: Folsom, CA

For the Bureau of Reclamation, the project consists of furnishing and installing new sections of 84", 72", and 36" diameter steel piping and associated butterfly valves, air valves and anchor blocks. Further scope includes installation of 60", 18", and 8" gate valves and a 72" flowmeter.

A challenge on the project is working during defined shut-down schedules. With the pipeline supplying water to surrounding cities, the schedule requires work to be completed during 30 hour shutdown windows that vary week-to-week.
